THE CONVENTION
The 2022 ACS National Convention is taking place on June 16-18 in its new location at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C., with a virtual option for those who cannot attend in person. Join us for the premier progressive legal gathering of the year, bringing together lawyers, law students, scholars, judges, activists, and policymakers to address some of the most urgent and challenging issues confronting our nation.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
To help make the ACS National Convention accessible to law students, we may be able to offer shared hotel accomodations to offset the costs of attendance for qualified applicants. Scholarships should defray your costs of attending the Convention but are not intended to cover the entire cost of your trip. If needed, we recommend seeking additional funding from your law school. We encourage you to apply early and share this information with your classmates!
If you are awarded a shared hotel accommodation scholarship, ACS will book the room reservation and handle room payment (excluding incidentals). Scholarship recipients will receive Convention registration instructions with their award email.
Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis based on the information that you provide in your application, so please fill out this form completely and accurately.
All scholarship recipients MUST perform approximately five hours of service during the National Convention to qualify for their award. The exact time and task(s) for volunteering will be designated by ACS staff closer to the time of Convention.
