DESCRIPTION: Protesters have been in the streets of Portland, Oregon every night for more than two months in support of Black lives. Throughout that time, police frequently have attempted to disperse protesters, as well as journalists and legal observers, with tear gas, so-called "less lethal" munitions, and other tactics. For several weeks in July, federal agents stationed inside the federal courthouse in downtown Portland employed particularly aggressive crowd dispersal tactics. Federal agents also reportedly took several protesters off the streets in unmarked vehicles while refusing to identify themselves or the agencies they work for. \n\nJoin the Oregon, Arizona, At-Large, Austin, DC, Los Angeles, Madison, and Tampa Lawyer Chapters, and the Willamette Student Chapter for this program.
