Dennis on her new co-authored book, Rap on Trial: Race, Lyrics, and Guilt in America.\n\nRap on Trial is “a groundbreaking exposé about the alarming use of rap lyrics as criminal evidence to convict and incarcerate young men of color,” and our discussion, in addition to Professor Dennis, will include members of the Athens hip hop community, local lawyers, law students, and criminal justice reform activists.\n\nFeaturing:\n\nAndrea L.
