Judge Larson was appointed by Governor Walz in July 2022. Before being appointed to the bench, Judge Larson was a senior attorney and the Water Policy Director at the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and clerked at the Minnesota Supreme Court, the Minnesota Federal District Court, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
