DESCRIPTION: This month's case will be Quinn/Clayton et al v. State of Washington. This is the case out of Douglas county starting the long march up to the State Supreme Court tackling the issue of whether the State can pass a progressive capital gains tax. A Douglas county trial court just ruled that the statute is unconstitutional.
