Event Details
Join ACS friends for a Happy Hour to meet Phil Brest, President of the American Constitution Society. Phil is traveling the country to meet with ACS friends and chapters, and to share updates on ACS and its plans for the future.
Phil joined ACS in January, having previously served as the White House Senior Counsel who directed the Biden administration’s judicial nominations. Phil helped lead efforts to confirm 235 Article III judges—the most by any Presidential administration in nearly five decades. Before joining the Biden White House, he spent six years working for the Senate Judiciary Committee, most recently as Chief Counsel for Nominations and Senior Advisor to U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill). Learn more about Phil here.
Light refreshments provided.
The ACS North Carolina Lawyer Chapter is building up momentum for more impact in the months ahead. If you cannot make the event on October 28, but want to stay involved in the chapter as it grows, please e-mail us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
