The Promise of Justice Initiative (PJI) is partnering with the ACS Tulane Law Student Chapter and the ACS New Orleans Lawyer Chapter to screen their documentary "Plantations and Prisons: A History of Forced Labor in Louisiana." This is a great opportunity for students and faculty to learn more about PJI's work to end forced labor in prisons in Louisiana like Angola. The documentary features perspectives from former incarcerated individuals and their experiences in the Louisiana prison system.
