Please join the ACS Northeast Ohio Chapter for a virtual post-election townhall regarding prospects for progressive change and what we can do to help rebuild progressive momentum at the state and local level. Under lockstep conservative governance for much of the last three decades, Ohio has declined in education (35th out of 50 states), health (47th in health care value), and population growth (48th). The question is: what we can do to turn this around?

During the townhall, we will discuss:

• The results of the 2024 election in Ohio at the state and local levels and what those results mean for the next 2 – 4 years.
• Gerrymandering and the corporate capture of our state and local institutions.
• Areas of progress and hope across the state.
• Opportunities for progress, including how getting involved at the state and local level can make a massive difference.
