Event Details

This term, the U.S. Supreme Court released a number of important decisions – many of which have worrying implications for those concerned about the strength of our democracy, the balance of power between different branches of government, the capacities of our administrative agencies, and basic reproductive freedoms and human rights. Please join the ACS Minnesota Chapter for a discussion of the most weighty decisions from this term. We are honored to have Amy Bergquist from the Advocates for Human Rights, and Professor Nicholas Bednar from the University of Minnesota Law School, join us to share their knowledge.

Featuring:

Nicholas Bednar, Associate Professor of Law, University of Minnesota Law School

Amy Bergquist, International Human Rights Attorney, The Advocates for Human Rights

Light refreshments will be provided. Please check in at the reservation desk in the 60 South Sixth lobby to get a pass to enter the turnstiles, then take the elevators up to Floor 15. Please contact Dylan Saul (612-492-7000) if you have any difficulty.
