a. Nina Gurak from Health and Free Tennessee came to talk with us on Thursday. HFT is a network of agencies, organizations, and individuals working together to promote sexual health and reproductive freedom in the state of Tennessee. Their organizational focus is on the intersections of racism, the criminal legal system, and reproductive justice. They fight to improve access to reproductive health care for marginalized communities and fight punitive policies that seek to criminalize reproductive outcomes. Nina spoke with us about her work and the intersections between reproductive justice and the criminal legal system.
