Event Details

On April 7, 2022, the Senate confirmed Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the 116th justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Justice Jackson is the first Black woman and the first former federal public defender to serve on the Court. She grew up in Miami and has close connections to so many in the legal community here.

Join us on February 15 at 12:00 p.m. at Podhurst Orseck, P.A. (1 SE 3rd Ave Suite 2300, Miami, FL) for a lunch conversation on the "Lesson Learned from the Nomination and Confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson" with Stephen Rosenthal, a close friend of Justice Jackson. Stephen attended middle school, high school, college, and law school with Justice Jackson and writes about their friendship in a CNN opinion piece here.
