Please join the ACS Austin, San Diego, and Washington, DC Lawyer Chapters for a discussion about the decision in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen. In Bruen, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down New York City's concealed carry firearms regulations for violating the Second Amendment. The decision calls into question the constitutionality of a wide range of firearms regulations throughout the country. This program will look at efforts at the state, county and municipal levels in California to address the ongoing problem of firearm violence in the wake of Bruen.
