The Tennessee Freedom Circle and ACS Nashville seek to bring lawyers together to be prepared to work on the legal issues that will arise in a post-Dobbs Tennessee. The training will focus on educating lawyers about the current state of the law in Tennessee and how patients and their health care will be affected after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. JWHO decision. The training will help lawyers advising medical providers understand how the Trigger Ban law works, will connect criminal law practitioners who may one day be providing compliance advice or a trial defense to someone prosecuted under the Trigger Ban statute, and will empower any attorney who wants to be more knowledgeable about this law and advocate for its change.
