Event Details

In 2022, the General Assembly passed a large variety of laws: from a controversial constitutional carry law and a law about transgender children to a bipartisan revamp of mental health law. Some have already been signed into law by Governor Kemp.

The American Constitution Society believes that law should be a force to improve the lives of all people. Please join us for a lively discussion on which bills became law and which did not, and on how the lives of Georgians will be impacted.

Featuring:

Hon. Elena Parent, Senator, Georgia State Senate; Member, ACS Georgia Lawyer Chapter Board of Advisors
Hon. Mary Margaret Oliver, Representative, Georgia House of Representatives; Member, ACS Georgia Lawyer Chapter Board of Advisors
Hon. Sam Park, Representative, Georgia House of Representatives
Hon. W. Matthew Wilson, Representative, Georgia House of Representatives
