Please join the ACS Arizona Lawyer Chapter for a virtual panel on "The History and Future of the Equal Rights Amendment!" As the ERA edges closer to becoming the 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution than ever before, the chapter is proud to host a panel with national and Arizona advocates for a discussion on the how we got to this point and what the future holds for the ERA.

The distinguished panelists include: nationally known ERA advocate Kate Kelly, host of the podcast Ordinary Equality, and author of the forthcoming book "Ordinary Equality" about the history of the women who have shaped the U.S. Constitution; Arizona ERA advocate and progressive lawyer Dianne Post, who has worked over the past 26 years in 14 countries to design and implement fundamental legal, policy, and programmatic reform on issues related to gender equality; Arizona State Senator Victoria Steele, a longtime champion of the rights of women and girls who has served in the Arizona Legislature since 2013 and sponsored resolutions to ratify and participated in debate about ratifying the ERA there; and moderator Karen Hartman-Tellez, a partner at Ellman Law Group LLC and member of the Board of the ACS Arizona Lawyer Chapter, who formerly served as Chief Counsel of the Arizona Civil Rights Division's Compliance Section.

Featuring:

Dianne Post, Attorney and Advocate for Gender Equality, International Law, and Family Law
Kate Kelly, Host of Ordinary Equality Podcast, Wonder Media Network
Hon. Victoria Steele, Arizona Senator for District 9
