ACS is pleased to announce the 4th event in our Southeast Regional Convening series, which will briefly discuss the history of Civil Rights in the Supreme Court and then transition to our panelists' respective organizations' perspectives on "Civil Rights" and their advocacy to advance those view. The goal of this Panel is to encourage a broad array of perspectives and discussion on 1) the evolution of Civil Rights in American jurisprudence; and 2) contemporary Civil Rights issues that our panelists are litigating or advocating on. This panel will be moderated by Professor Patricia Broussard, who teaches Constitutional Law at FAMU College of Law. She will start our panel by introducing our topic and our panelists.
