The ACS DC, At-Large, Bay Area, Colorado, Connecticut, Los Angeles, Madison, New York, Oregon, and San Diego Lawyer Chapters are pleased to host an expert panel discussion on what tools, if any, the minority party has available to delay, halt, and effectively neutralize the confirmation of a Supreme Court Justice especially when an election is already under way. Topics will include effective use of Senate rules and procedures, dispatching the electoral process, and judicial review.

The panel will feature:

Alan Frumin, former Parliamentarian of the United States Senate
Adam Jentleson, Public Affairs Director, Democracy Forward; and former deputy chief of staff for Senator Harry Reid of Nevada
Leslie Proll, Civil Rights Attorney and Advisor for the NAACP on Federal Judicial Nominations

Moderated By:
Harsh Voruganti, Founder and Principal, Voruganti Law Firm; Founder and Editor, The Vetting Room; President, ACS DC Lawyer Chapter
