Event Details

In our kickoff event for the Southeast Regional Convening, we'll discuss the intersection of Originalism and the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision, why Rucho v. Common Cause presented a judicial case and controversy, and the need for a new Voting Rights Act. Intertwined within these discussions will be information regarding the history of voting rights, nuanced campaign finance issues, and the future of voting rights jurisprudence with the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
