Event Details

Please join us for a frank discussion about two crucial topics: (1) the main sources of systemic racism in Northeast Ohio; and (2) what you can do to help correct them. Steve Dettelbach and Marisa Darden will discuss the stakeholders in the region, what is working in the fight against institutional racism, and some of the challenges in enacting reform. Steve and Marisa will also discuss the themes ACS plans to address as part of our commitment to racial justice issues in light of the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and others.

Featuring:

Marisa Darden, Principal, Squire Patton Boggs; former Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Ohio; Member, ACS Northeast Ohio Chapter Board of Directors
Steve Dettelbach, Partner, BakerHostetler; former United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio
