The ACS Arizona Lawyer Chapter, along with the ACS Austin Lawyer Chapter, is very excited to welcome Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford, Phoenix activist attorney Jamaar Williams, and ASU Law Professor and experienced innocence litigator Valena Beety, who will discuss what concrete steps for reform in law enforcement and criminal law are most important for racial justice, what the prospects for real reform are both nationally and in our Southwestern communities, and whether 2020 is the inflection point toward a more just society many hope it is.
