Join the Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society, Advocates for Human Rights, and Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association for a discussion on high-profile activity at the border and recent updates in the asylum law space. Immigration attorney and advocate Kara Lynum will discuss her trip to the US-Mexico border in December, where she and other immigration attorneys volunteered to represent asylum seekers. In addition to a brief overview of asylum law, Lynum will discuss how recently implemented policies have led to a humanitarian crisis.
